What is FIPI BC?

During its two-year term (2013 – 2014), the Fire Inspection and Prevention Initiative will carry out a plan to conduct two education initiatives and a regulator coordination initiative. To carry out its plan, a FIPI Steering Committee with representation from affected stakeholders has been convened to guide FIPI. In addition, three working groups have been created to carry out the working plan and a fourth working group to manage communication with all the affected stakeholders.

WorkSafeBC is providing FIPI with up to one million dollars over two years to achieve its goals as well as two staff positions and office space in their Richmond office.
